Organized by Tüyap Konya Fairs Inc. in association with the Association of Lathe Industrialists and Businessmen (TIAD), Association of Turkish Machine Manufacturers (MIB) with the support of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, Konya Chamber of Industry, Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Konya Chapter and KOSGEB, the KONMAK 2018 - Konya 15th International Metal Processing Machinery, Welding, Drilling and Cutting Technologies, Materials, Hand Tools, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Fair will be held concurrently with KONELEX 2018, KONYA SHEET METAL PROCESSING and ISKON 2018 between May 10-13, 2018, at the KONYA CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE - TÜYAP Konya  International Exhibition Center.
Konya is the manufacturing hub of Anatolia and the small and medium business capital of Turkey with manufacturing facilities in 80 industries ranging from automotive to agriculture, machinery and foot wear. The regular tradeshows in the province leverage the manufacturing potential of the city and contribute to the economy of the region.
Konmak 2018 has become one of the most important tradeshows in the region and is included in the international events calendar thanks to the concentration of industry in Konya and the region.  Seventy percent of the milling machinery industry, 65% of the agricultural machinery industry and 75% of the vehicular superstructure industry in Turkey is located in Konya.  This fact ensures that the fairs increase their influence and grow consistently by leveraging the metal processing capacity in Konya.
Konmak has become a brand name in metal processing fairs in Turkey and abroad, with more and more companies participating in the event every year.  Capital investments comprise a significant portion of the exhibits in the fair, and help Konmak to extend beyond local boundaries and become a truly international event.
The fairs will bring together companies in the metal processing, stacking, storage, logistics, electric and electronics industries.  The 2016  fairs took place in 4 halls with a total enclosed area of 44,000 m2, were attended by 504 companies and representatives from 24 countries.  More than 1000 machines, materials and process technologies of 1236 brands were on exhibit for four days, and received a total of 53,446 visitors from 24 countries of the world and 58 provinces of Turkey, most not ably from industrial provinces.
Promotion and marketing efforts for the fair continue at full speed both domestically and abroad.  According to indicators, the number of participants and visitors will grow by 25% and make the fairs the most important meeting of the metal processing industry of Anatolia in 2017.
The visiting hours of the fairs will be between 10 am and 7 pm on May 10-11-12, 2018, and 10 am to 6pm on May 13, 2018.
